For best results, ensure that gloves are snug on your hands and fingertips, otherwise, the touchscreen feature may not work as well as it can!

Please make sure to wear the correct glove size with fingertips fitting and touching the inside of the gloves completely. Wearing a glove with the incorrect size, with space in between fingertips will reduce touchscreen sensitivity. If gloves fit correctly, there should be no problem.

How to Prewash your Gloves and Maintain Them

Always use safety precautions in the work place.  Please also refer to our Company Disclaimer.

Why Wash your Gloves?

When a pair of gloves are made they are often mass-produced in a foreign country, they are stored in the factory, boxed up and sent across the world before they sit in a warehouse waiting to be bought by you.  The coatings are often coated with preservatives.  The only way to get rid of these preservatives is to pre-wash your gloves.  Each manufacturer uses a different amount of preservatives to preserve nitrile.  Our recommendation would be to pre-wash them.  Prewashing also activates the nitrile for maximum grip.

How to Wash SaferGrip Gloves

If you want to make the most out of your SaferGrip gloves, wash them immediately after use in warm water (a maximum of 30º C).

Leave your gloves to dry naturally, it should take around a day.

  • Wash in a sink – Make sure you use just warm water – less than 30c and simply wash them by hand, no scrubbers or brushes etc.
  • Wash in the shower – similar to the sink, except it seems much simpler, throw them on in the shower and you can squeeze out all the chemicals and use the palms against each other gently to wash them without the fear of damaging them.
  • Washing machine – Throw your gloves in a pillowcase each, tie the ends, and put in a little non-bio detergent at 30c – no softener!

Let them dry naturally (no radiators, hair dryers or heat sources) until they are just a little damp before wearing, and enjoy your new gloves at their best!
